Department of Economics

This major is designed to give the student in business a broad knowledge of economic tools to provide a foundation for careers in business, economics, finance, or law.

Economics Major Without an Area of Emphasis

An economics major exposes the student to the different areas of economics. Because of the breadth of this degree, it allows maximum flexibility and prepares graduates to enter a wide variety of occupations or attend professional or graduate school in business, economics, finance, government, or law. Economics majors also have the option of receiving either the Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Emphasis in International Business

This curriculum prepares the student to access and respond to opportunities and problems of international trade, international finance, multinational markets, and multinational organizations.
