Concentration Program

The concentration in Communication Arts requires a total of 18 hours.

This concentration is ONLY available for students who have as their major the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies or the Online Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies.

Option 1:

COMM 2332 - Media and Society (3 Credit Hours)
Select 5 upper division (3000 level or higher) courses for which the prerequisites have been met the following areas: COMM, COMS, FILM, MMFP, MMJ, PRCA or THEA.

Option 2:

Select 6 upper division (3000 level or higher) courses for which the prerequisites have been met the following areas: COMM, COMS, FILM, MMFP, MMJ, PRCA or THEA.

Advisement

Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors. Academic Advisors are located on all three Georgia Southern University campuses. Students are required to meet with their assigned Academic Advisor at least once a semester.
