Concentration Program

The concentration in Sociology requires a total of 18 credit hours.

This concentration is ONLY available for students who have as their major the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies or the Online Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies.

Option 1:

18 Credit Hours of 3000-Level (or higher) SOCI courses

Option 2:

SOCI 2232 - Introduction to Social Services (3 Credit Hours)
15 Credit Hours of 3000-Level (or higher) SOCI courses

Total Credit Hours: 18

Advisement

Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors. Academic Advisors are located on all three Georgia Southern University campuses. Students are required to meet with their assigned Academic Advisor at least once a semester.
