Sustainability Concentration

Concentration Requirements: 18 Credit Hours


A total of 18 credit hours are required for the concentration

This concentration is ONLY available for students who have as their major the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies or the Online Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies.

Additional 15 Credit Hours


Students must also complete 15 credit hours 3000-level and above from the following list of courses pending completion of necessary pre-requisites: 1

1 Non-science majors must choose at least two courses taught within the College of Science & Mathematics.

2 Permission of instructor

3 Courses with no prerequisites

4 SUST 4730 Practicum in Environmental Sustainability  is a capstone project in sustainability, conducted with a faculty mentor (generally in the home department) and coordinated by the Director of the Institute for Coastal Plain Science (ICPS).

Advisement

Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors. Academic Advisors are located on all three Georgia Southern University campuses.
