MSED 7639 - MED Seminar in Middle Grades and Secondary Education (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course is a seminar for the MEd in Middle Grades Education and Secondary Education programs. Emphasis is placed on a study of the historical and contemporary research, instruction, and recommended practices for effective middle and secondary schools. Current trends and issues in middle grades and secondary education will be examined. A classroom action research project is included.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in EDUR 7130 and MSED 8333 or MSED 8331 , and an advanced pedagogy course in one’s certified concentration area with a minimum grade of “C”. Restriction(s): NO Undergraduate Level Students
