ITW 4136 - Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 The course covers the process of automatically extracting valid, useful, and previously unknown information from data sources and using the information to make decisions. This course is designed to provide students with a solid understanding of the knowledge discovery process and the use of data mining concepts and tools as part of that process.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in all of the following: ITW 3233 , BUSA 3131 or STAT 1401 .
