CRJU 5105G - Homeland Security (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course provides an overview of homeland security in the context of twenty-first century threats such as terrorism and cyber-terrorism. Students will analyze the political, operational, tactical, and environmental factors considered in the creation and administration of homeland security policy. Particular attention will be given to the coordination of federal, state, and local agencies responsible for the prevention of and response to acts of terrorism. Graduate students will complete an additional substantive research paper, project, or presentation based on course objectives.
